Our Salisbury office employs around 70 members of staff tasked with varying duties: from membership and complaints administration to complaints mediation and investigation.

As a free, impartial and independent service for consumers, we help people to settle complaints in relation to property agents. By providing a service for people from all backgrounds and all parts of the community, we ensure that those we employ value and reflect this diversity.

The work experience, academic and professional qualifications of our employees are as varied as the work we do and we aim to employ people with the right work ethic, experience and ability to fulfil the often complex and pressured roles within our company.

Evaluation Advisor

Milford House, Salisbury

Salary:  £19,008.11 p/a

The Property Ombudsman is looking for an Evaluation Advisor, who will provide high-quality frontline customer service by offering information and guidance to Consumers and Agents quickly and sensitively, thereby ensuring a smooth transition of the complaint from the initial stage to receipt of the final viewpoint letter.

Customer Service Advisor

Milford House, Salisbury

Salary:  £19,008.11 p/a

One full-time post + two part-time posts; hours of work 9 – 1pm Monday to Friday or 1 – 5pm Monday to Friday. Please specify preferred hours when applying.

The Property Ombudsman is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to provide high quality frontline customer service by offering information and guidance to consumers and agents quickly and sensitively. You will also record and respond to all consumer contacts received by telephone in line with TPO procedures.

Case Management Officer

Milford House, Salisbury

Salary:  £19,008.11 p/a

The Property Ombudsman is looking for a Case Management Officer, who will facilitate the smooth transition of the complaint from completion of the agent’s internal complaints procedure through to closure, through correspondence with Agents and Complainants. In doing so they will provide high quality frontline customer service by offering information and guidance to Complainants and Agents, as well as recording and responding to all consumer contacts received by telephone, e-mail or letter in line with TPO procedures. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Post Administrator

Milford House, Salisbury

Salary:  £19,008.11 p/a

One full-time post + two part-time posts; hours of work 9 – 1pm Monday to Friday or 1 – 5pm Monday to Friday. Please specify preferred hours when applying.

The Property Ombudsman is looking for a Post Administrator to administer the incoming post and group mailboxes. 

You will accurately create and/or amend complaint records where appropriate in line with current TPO procedures, as well as accurately log and distribute correspondence to the appropriate team or colleague.
