The Property Ombudsman (TPO) scheme has issued a year-long formal warning to Purfect Property Solutions Limited after it failed to provide information and written assurance concerning a consumer complaint.

The sales and lettings agent, based on Temple Street in Aylesbury (HP20 2RN) was investigated by the Property Ombudsman following a complaint made by the landlords of the property concerned.

The landlords approached TPO after they were unable to resolve a dispute with the agent.

The Ombudsman supported the complaint and the award was paid but the case was referred to the scheme’s Disciplinary & Standards Committee (DSC) which concluded that Purfect Properties Solutions Limited should receive a warning to last one year as the agency failed to provide information as the Ombudsman had directed or any written assurance that the agency would in future co-operate with the Ombudsman and comply in full with the Ombudsman’s decisions.

The agent’s website suggests the agency is actively trading and advertising properties for sale and to rent. Consumers are hereby warned about the firm’s conduct as a result of their failure to comply with the Ombudsman’s instructions outlined above.
