TPO Industry & Consumer Forums
The Property Ombudsman’s (TPO) Consumer and Industry Forums joined via Zoom for their final meeting of 2020 to identify and discuss emerging issues. Key topics included: Impact of the pandemic on the industry, update on overarching Code of Practice consultation, new CPR guidance and unlawful Rent-to-Rent arrangements.
Unlawful Rent-to-Rent Agreements
There is growing concern over potential unlawful Rent-to-Rent agreements, which have become increasingly more apparent during the pandemic.
Assured Advice for Video Viewings
The property market remains open for business but agents are reminded of the importance of adhering to strict social distancing and safety guidelines.
